GREENCASTLE -- The action inside the arena at the Putnam County Fair was fast a furious Friday. When the bids stopped flying, the auction netted a total of $86,767.46 with its new format. This year's auction was a premium only event, essentially meaning the number presented is the amount bid on top of the animal's value price.
