ROACHDALE -- Wednesday was all about survival for North Putnam's boys basketball team. The Cougars came into their home game against North Vermillion bruised and sick. Senior guard Payne Stewart even missed the game because of an illness. INDIANAPOLIS -- South Putnam stepped onto the floor at Conseco Fieldhouse Wednesday and attacked the Rockville Rox from the opening tip, but failed to answer the call when the Rox became the aggressors and South Putnam fell 69-32. The biggest challenge for South Putnam was to maintain its discipline and patience in its half court offense.
