The softball game between South Putnam and North Putnam was called Wednesday due to rain. The teams will try to play tonight at South Putnam at 5 p.m. weather permitting.

Four-time Indianapolis 500 champion Al Unser Sr. will join RPM2Nite hosts Clay Carter and Ryan Myrehn for a live interview this Sunday evening. REELSVILLE -- As rain has continued to be an on-and-off phenomenon this week, the search for a Putnam County kayaker missing since last Tuesday has stalled. The search is set to resume in upcoming days however. Reelsville fire chief John McPherson said his department hasn't had a chance to conduct a formal search on Big Walnut Creek for David Pritchett, 48, since last Friday because of the weather. McPherson said two upcoming searches should have a large number of people involved.. ...

INDOT has announced the closure of State Road 42 in northern Owen County due to rising waters. State Road 42 is closed between State Road 243 and Owen County Road 1200N. Robert "Bob" Keith Huber, Sr., 84, Fillmore, passed away on April 28, 2011 at The Waters at Greencastle. He was born on Sept. 15, 1926 at Greencastle and was the son of the late William L. and Inez F. (Smith) Huber.
