Indiana State Police and Putnam County emergency agencies responded to a one-vehicle crash Monday morning on Interstate 70 near the 37-mile marker. Preliminary investigation revealed a silver 2005 Nissan Quest SUV was eastbound on I-70, approximately four miles west of Cloverdale, when the vehicle suddenly veered to the left and struck the center guardrail...

County Jail Several people have been booked into the Putnam County Jail recently. At 12:45 a.m. Daniel Omeara Evans, 53, Clay City, was held at the jail for operating while intoxicated. At 4:18 a.m. Ryan L. Crist, 30, Greencastle, was arrested for violation of home detention...
