COLUMBUS -- The three round Indiana Women's Golf Association's Amateur Championship took place July 18-20 at Otter Creek Golf Course in Columbus. Among those competing were two Putnam County golfers. Greencastle's Jamie Clark posted rounds of 80, 79 and 76 to finish at plus-19 and in a tie for 20th place. Cloverdale senior Sydney Shrum shot rounds of 98, 87 and 86 to close at plus-55 for the tournament and sole possession of 83rd place...

Well water testing kits available from SWCD office

The Putnam County Soil and Water Conservation District has well water testing kits available for e-coli and nitrates at $14 for both tests or $6 for one. Additional test kits are available.
