The Salvation Army is looking for Putnam County volunteers to serve as bell ringers during the holiday season. Volunteers are needed beginning at 6 a.m. on Black Friday, Nov. 23, through Christmas Eve. Interested parties may sign up as individuals or take on larger amounts of time for groups...

FILLMORE-- Dixie Chopper employees recently made a $500 donation to Fillmore Elementary School from their "jean day" fund. Employees who wear jeans on Fridays donate $2 to the fund each week. After a certain amount is collected, the Wellness Committee, composed of employees from various departments, determines where the money is donated...

The Alpha Delta Chapter of Tri-Kappa will be hosting its annual Rag Doll Christmas Bazaar on Saturday, Nov. 17.
