The third of four farewell concerts celebrating Claude Cymerman's final year of teaching at DePauw University will take place on Wednesday, Oct. 30 at 7:30 p.m. in the Green Center's Kresge Auditorium on the DePauw campus. A performance of Igor Stravinsky's piano four-hand version of "The Rite of Spring" will mark both the 100th anniversary of the work and the retirement of the School of Music's beloved French-born professor of piano, who has taught at DePauw University for more than 40 years...

Whether you were a Nun on the Run like Hollie Fowler or just plain Pretty in Pink, the 5K Halloween Fun Run was the place to be on Saturday morning. Despite a wicked wind and temperatures in the 30s, more than 200 runners or walkers were on hand for the fourth annual Pink Halloween 5K Fun Run to benefit the American Cancer Society. The event raised a reported $1,717. Besides the 220 runners and walkers, 25 volunteers and countless spectators participated.
