CLOVERDALE -- Having been unable to secure a win since the season opener, Cloverdale looked to the IHSAA tournament as a chance to start with a clean slate taking on Park Tudor Friday night. ROACHDALE -- After 3-7 and 1-9 seasons, the North Putnam Cougars are on pace to get back to their winning ways. They ended the football season with a 4-6 record Friday night, while losing to the Benton Central Bison 21-15. "We have a lot to look forward to," Cougar coach Greg Barrett said. ...

Spencer- After Thursday night's emotional 5-game win over Edgewood in the opening round of the Owen Valley IHSAA volleyball sectional 28, Lady Tiger Cub coach Maggie Walters knew that her squad could not fall behind state ranked Northview in Saturday's semi -final match if her squad was to advance to champion ship match. Sadly that's what her varsity squad did in losing in three games 3-0...

Local runners, Brittany Love, Arianna Pershing and Corrine Romer as well as Taylor Secrest of Greencastle, along with Kieffer Vittetow and Madison Egold of South Putnam all ran at Northview Church near Carmel High School. No runners advanced and results will be available school...
