Area 30 Robotics

Putnam County Hospital and the Putnam County Hospital Hospitalist Program recently donated $1,000 to sponsor the a robotics competition, which will be held on Saturday, Dec. 6 at Area 30. AARP Foundation seeks local volunteers for free tax program

The local AARP Foundation is again providing free tax assistance and preparation this year for taxpayers with low to moderate income through the AARP Foundation Tax-Aide program. AARP Foundation Tax-Aide, in its 46th year, is the nation's largest free tax assistance and preparation service, giving special attention to the older population. As a thank you for helping during the most recent racing season, Madison Township residents Bret Hurley (third from left) and David Rowings (second from right) recently donate $1,500 to the Madison Township Volunteer Fire Department. The department will put the donation toward the $2,200 match needed to obtain the $10,000 grant it was awarded back in June from the Putnam County Community Foundation for the purchase of new self-contained breathing apparatuses. ...

Area 30 to take part in Super Mileage Challenge
