The North Putnam Cougars took on the South Putnam Eagles in the first round of the Putnam County Classic on Friday night. The Cougars advanced, winning 45-39. A close contest throughout was the story at McAnally Center Friday night when the Cloverdale boys' basketball team took on Greencastle in the first game of the Putnam County Classic.
