BRAZIL -- The aftermath of a fatality on Interstate 70 in Clay County led to a second wreck Monday evening, the second resulting in a fiery crash but non-life-threatening injuries to the driver. Cloverdale's baseball team played well at times during its first game against conference rival Cascade Monday, according to coach Jarrod Duff. But the Clovers fell 5-2 at home. The two teams will faceoff again Tuesday at Cascade.

The Clover softball team picked up a gritty win Monday, after falling behind late. With slugger Kimmy Winders at the plate, Cloverdale picked up a big RBI to walk away with the win 5-4.

The Culinary Art students at Area 30 Career Center will be creating and serving their last Ivy Gallery lunch of the school year on Friday, May 15. Seating begins at 11:45 a.m. Cost of the three-course meal is $10.75 per person.
