True to its long-standing tradition, the Bainbridge Improvement Society has again contributed to local projects in the Bainbridge community. The donations included $3,000 to the North Putnam Youth Baseball League to assist in the recent renovation of the Clarence Steward Ball Park in Bainbridge. Likewise, Mortonville Fireworks received $500 to help defray expenses for the upcoming July 4th Fireworks Show in Bainbridge.

In early February, the Putnam County Youth Philanthropy Committee received a Connecting Generations grant to create a video encouraging intergenerational understanding between senior citizens and today's youth.
