Two elderly females were airlifted to a Terre Haute hospital following a single-vehicle accident Friday morning. At 10:40 a.m. Annabelle S. Rennekamp, 82, Greencastle, was southbound on Manhattan Road in a 2005 Chevrolet Equinox. Rennekamp told Putnam County Sheriff’s Department Capt. Hiram "Hamburger" Barger Sr., 89, Greencastle, passed away Saturday, July 8, 2017 at Putnam County Hospital. Hiram was born in Saul, Ky., on March 27, 1928, the son of Justis and Mary Barger. He attended Saul Kentucky Schools. FILLMORE -- The Fillmore Town Council approved Resolution 2017-4, which regulates the travel of large vehicles on town streets.
