Recent North Putnam graduate Max Haste competed in the Indiana Football Coaches Association North-South All-Star Game on Friday night at Indianapolis North Central. Haste was a member of the South team, which lost 21-14. He played tight end and on the field goal unit in special teams. -

Police release sketch of suspect in killings of 2 teens (State News ~ 07/17/17)
DELPHI (AP) — State police released an artist’s sketch Monday of a man considered the main suspect in the killings of two northern Indiana girls and urged the public to study the image and provide tips that could help them identify the suspect. The composite sketch depicts a white man with a prominent nose and a goatee who’s wearing a cap and what appears to be a hooded sweater.
