Cereal for a cause

Debbie Brinson and Kathy Morgan of Endeavor Communications load up some of the boxes of cereal Endeavor employees recently collected and donated as part of a Cereal Drive at its Cloverdale office. Endeavor employees, members and board of directors joined together to collect and donate a total of 900 boxes of cereal in continuing a commitment to support the local community. Endeavor distributed 500 boxes to the Cunot Community Center, 200 boxes to the Missionary Church Food Pantry in Cunot, 100 boxes to the New Providence Church Food Pantry and 100 boxes to the Eminence Christian Church Food Pantry.

Donation to Castlemakers

Representatives of Castlemakers receive the second installment of $500 of a four-year, $2,000 pledge from Republic Services. The gift is being used to provide materials, components and programming for community projects. Republic representatives Bill Cira, general manager (center), and Kenneth DePasse, governmental affairs (third from right) make the presentation to Laurie Hardwick, Dr. John Savage, Chris Hebb, Brian Howard and Jacob Hale from Castlemakers. Castlemakers is a non-profit community group dedicated to promoting and encouraging scientific and creative skills through building projects, education, mentorship, sharing and relationships with other organizations.
