Local pair inducted as Hall of Famers

The Greater Greencastle United States Bowling Congress recently honored several youth bowlers at its Youth Bowling Awards. Inducted into the Youth Hall of Fame were Megan Friars of Greencastle (left) and Nick Duggan of South Putnam (right). Presenting the awards was Coy Dickey, Youth Bowling Committee Member. Friars was inducted for her outstanding performance as a youth bowling, competing in numerous matches in Greencastle and all over the United States. She won high school sectional and regional championships in the Wabash Valley South Conference earlier this year. Duggan was inducted for his outstanding service to the Saturday Morning Youth Leagues and the youth Committee over the past several years.
