CARBON -- A 31-year-old Parke County man suffered a gunshot wound to the face in an incident in the Carbon area Tuesday evening, the Parke County Sheriff's Department reported. At approximately 6:25 p.m. Tuesday, Parke County Sheriff's deputies responded to a rural residence near the Clay-Parke county line to investigate a reported shooting.
