Lucile Eloise Nichols Burkett passed away at Asbury Towers at the age of 102. Lucile was the first of six children born to Harvey and Lola Proctor Nichols at the Nichols farm, which has been in the family for more than 100 years. Lucile graduated from Bainbridge High School and attended Purdue University on a four-year full scholarship, where she also played on the women’s baseball team...

Steven C. Parrish, 75, of Sadieville, Ky., passed away on June 15, 2019. He was born in Greencastle to the late Arthur and LaVerne (Beams) Parrish on Aug. 15, 1943. He was a 1961 graduate of Greencastle High School. He retired after 32 years from Allison’s in Indianapolis. He then pursued a career as a truck driver for 10-plus years...
