Virginia “Jenny” Ruth Giles, 65, of Greencastle, passed away on Wednesday, July 31, 2019. She was born Aug. 25, 1953 in Brazil, the daughter of William B. and Ruth Pauline (Brown) Stevenson and was a 1972 graduate of South Putnam High School. Jenny was a homemaker and a member of the Indiana Volunteer Firefighters Association Auxiliary, serving as the current secretary and former District 11B Chairman of 2018. She also served as president of the Reelsville Volunteer Fire Fighters Auxiliary...

Greencastle senior Allison Stevens verbally committed recently to play college volleyball for Kentucky Wesleyan University in Owensboro, Ky. Stevens made the announcement on Twitter last month. “I’m proud to announce that I will be continuing my athletic and academic career playing volleyball for Kentucky Wesleyan,” she said. “Thank you for anyone who has been a part of this amazing journey.
