Eagles keep rolling with big win over North Putnam

When a football team is balanced, confident and on a roll, it is a tough matchup for opponents. The Class 1A No. 7 (coaches) or No. 9 (AP) ranked South Putnam Eagles came into Friday night for their home opener with all those things going for them and unfortunately for county rival North Putnam the Eagles continued their soaring ways with a 56-27 win over the Cougars in a Small School Western Indiana Conference game.

Council cautious about waste project in Fillmore

Most PCF offenders have now recovered from COVID-19

PUTNAMVILLE — Not only have COVID-19 cases slowed at Putnamville Correctional Facility, most of the infected prisoners have now recovered. As of Friday, the prison still stood at 177 offenders who has been diagnosed with COVID-19 since March.
