Helen N. (Eggers) Huffman

Services were conducted Monday morning for Helen N. (Eggers) Huffman, 92, who died Thursday at Hendricks Regional Health in Danville.

Born in Hendricks County, she was the daughter of Oscar and Nellie (Merritt) Eggers.

She had worked for L.S. Ayres in Indianapolis and retired from Blue Cross Blue Shield in Indianapolis.

She married John M. Huffman, who preceded her in death.

Surviving are two sons, Marion Huffman and wife Jean, Bainbridge, and Paul Huffman and wife Stella, Normal, Ill.; a daughter, Caron Fuller and husband John, Carlisle, Pa.; nine grandchildren, 17 great-grandchildren and five great-great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband and daughters Maxine and Marilyn Huffman.

Burial was in Bainbridge Cemetery.

Weaver and Randolph Funeral Home, Danville, handled arrangements.
