Memorial services for David Wayne Poynter, 43, Greencastle, will be conducted at 1 p.m. Saturday, March 11, at Servies and Morgan Funeral Home, Roachdale, with Rev. Hallie Taylor officiating.

Visitation is from noon-1 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home.

Poynter died Feb. 25 at his residence.

Born in Greencastle, he was the son of L.V. and Wilma Jean (Webb) Poynter.

A 1980 graduate of North Putnam High School, he worked as a fab operator at Acuity Lighting in Crawfordsville.

Survivors include his mother, Greencastle; and companion Jodie Frey, Covington.

He was preceded in death by his father.

Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society in care of Louise Brackney, Memorial Chairperson, 1 Hilltop Ct., Greencastle.
