Mary Louise Riley, 71, Roachdale, died Sunday morning at her residence.

Born at Roachdale, she was the daughter of Landon And Ada Mae Hopkins Stewart.

She graduated from Roachdale High School, and had lived in Indianapolis where she worked as a clerk in the Marion County Voter's Registration Office. She was a member of the Franklin Road Baptist Church in Indianapolis.

She married Richard Max Riley on May 15, 1953 at Greencastle, and he preceded her in death.

Surviving are two sons Troy Riley, Ft. Pierce, Fla., and Tracy Riley and wife Lynne, Greenfield; a daughter, Dawn Buffum and husband Roger, Grand Rapids, Mich.; two sisters Juanita Lively and Rose Miller and husband Leroy, Roachdale; brother Jim Stewart and wife Louise, Crawfordsville; six grandchildren and one great-grandson.

She was preceded in death by her husband and brother Alan Stewart.

Services are set for 2 p.m. Tuesday at Servies and Morgan Funeral Home, Roachdale, with Rev. Larry Stewart officiating. Entombment will be in Washington Park East Cemetery, Indianapolis.

Visitation is one hour prior to services.
