Darlene Cook, 63, Greencastle, died Wednesday at St. Vincent Hospital, Indianapolis.

Born in Greencastle, she was the daughter of Charles Noble and Julia Pauline (Bennett) Grimes.

A homemaker, she had also worked at Respite Care, and had volunteered at the Greencastle school library.

Surviving are two daughters, Julie Dorsett and husband Bruce, Greencastle, and Kelly Runnells Wells and husband Kenny, Greencastle; son Todd Cook, Reelsville; 12 grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, daughter Robin Greeson, son Rick Springer and sister Marlene Williams.

Services will be at 1 p.m. Monday at Hopkins-Rector Funeral Home, Greencastle, with Rev. Alan Small officiating. Burial will be in Forest Hill Cemetery.

Visitation is 11 a.m. until service time Monday.
