Dorothy M. Sheese, 78, Athens, Ala., formerly of Greencastle, died Friday at Huntsville, Hospital in Alabama.

Born in Bloomington, she was the daughter of Oscar F. and Margaret (Truax) Shultz.

She was a 1946 graduate of Gosport High School.

She married Renos Richard Sheese in 1946. He preceded her in death.

Surviving are her mother, Margaret Schultz, Spencer; daughter Vividana Craig and husband James, Athens, Ala.; sisters Betty Dean, Indianapolis, Mary Eliza-beth Deckard, Ellettsville, and Margaret Yvonne Fidler, Quincy; a grandson and two great-granddaughters.

She was preceded in death by her husband, father and brother.

Graveside services will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday at Hudson Hill Cemetery, Owen County.
