Kitty Ivey, 93, Greencastle, died Friday at The Waters of Greencastle.

Born in Clay County, Ky., she was the daughter of Hugh and Martha (Bruner) Hammonds.

She had worked for Baxter's Restaurant for 15 years and was a homemaker.

She married Isaac Hampton, who preceded her in death. Husband Frank Ivey died ij 1985.

Surviving are five sons, James Arthur Ivey, Plainfield, Issac Hampton and wife Alice, Donnie Ivey and wife Jeanette, Johnnie Ivey and wife Peggy, and Larry Ivey and wife Robin, all of Indianapolis; seven daughters, Rose Bleasing, Apply Valley, Calif., Martha Rodman and husband Bill, Joyce Eaton and husband Jack, Pearl McGuire and husband Dave, Kathy Ringley and husband Jo, all of Indianapolis, Edith Miller, Semi Valley, Calif., and Mable Lewis and husband Abraham, Greencastle; sisters Phoebe Allen, Greenwood, and Daisy Smith, London, Ky.; brother Joe Hampton, Pontiac, Mich.; 64 grandchildren, 117 great-grandchildren and 34 great-great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, sons Clarence and Carl Hampton, nine brothers, seven sisters, two grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.

Services will be at 2 p.m. Friday at Flanner and Buchanan Funeral Home, Indianapolis, with burial in Floral Park Cemetery.

Visitation is 4-8 p.m. Thursday.
