Robert M. Wolf, 92, Greencastle, formerly of Clay City, died Sunday at Hickory Creek at Sunset.

Born in Owen County, he was the son of Henry Peter and Mary Agnes (Mitchell) Wolf.

A graduate of Patricks-burg High School, he had resided in Clay and Owen counties, and participated in Rural Youth farming group. A farmer, he received a farming certificate from Purdue University. He was an active member of First United Church of Christ, serving as an elder and on other church boards, and was a member of Farm Bureau.

He married Lorene Thomas on Nov. 26, 1942. She survives.

Also surviving are a daughter, Sue and Chris Crafton, Greencastle; brother Fred Wolf and wife Audrey, Pendleton; four grandchildren, two great-grandchildren and several nieces, nephews and extended family.

He was preceded in death by his parents, son Thomas Wolf, brother Joe Wolf and sister Mary Elizabeth Wolf.

Services will be at 2:30 p.m. Wednesday at First United Church of Christ with Rev. Sam Wyatt officiating. Burial will be in St. Peters Cemetery.

Visitation is 4-8 p.m. Tuesday at Schoppenhorst Funeral Home, Clay City, and one-hour prior to services Wednesday.
