Della J. Spiker, 58, Greencastle, died Tuesday at Hendricks Regional Health, Danville.

Born in McCreary, Ky., she was the daughter of Robert E. and Nellie (Wilson) Troxell.

She was a member of First Baptist Church in Greencastle.

She married Joe Jimmy Spiker on Oct. 10, 1968. He died May 15, 1991.

Surviving are children Mille Vance, Indianapolis, Wade Vance and fiancee Lisa Woodall, Greencastle, Milissa Cash and husband Troy, Joe Spiker and wife Jill, Charles Spiker and wife Sheridan, and A.J. Spiker, all of Greencastle; sisters Anna Rexcoat, Indianapolis, and Janet Bean, Lenoir, N.C., brothers Jack Troxell and Dester Troxell, both of Indianapolis; six grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, three brothers and two sisters.

Services will be at 11 a.m. Friday at Bittles and Hurt Funeral Home, Greencastle, with Rev. Paul Bowen officiating.

Burial will be in Forest Hill Cemetery.

Visitation is 9 a.m. until service time Friday at the funeral home.
