GFD golf scramble set June 11

The seventh annual Greencastle Fire Dept. golf scramble has been scheduled for 8 a.m. on June 11 at the Old Hickory Golf Course.

Registration for the shotgun start scramble is scheduled for 7:30 a.m. Four-man teams are requested.

Cost is $50 per player or $200 per team. Mulligans will be available for $5 each but there is a limit of two per player.

First prize in the tournament will earn $700 while second will receive $500. The third-place finisher will receive $300.

Trophies will be given for the Longest Drive and Closest to Pin, and a Hole-in-One car will be sponsored by Andy Mohr Chevrolet.

Entries for the scramble will be limited to the first 25 teams and prize money will be based on a 25-team field. In addition, cost to sponsor a hole is $60.

Team entry forms can picked up at the Old Hickory Golf Course or the Greencastle Fire Dept.

The entry deadline is June 7, and all proceeds from the scramble will be donated to the Hoosier Burn Camp.
