Program set to kick off

The Greencastle Parks and Recreation Department will be sponsoring a fall Mommy & Me program for toddlers ages 18 months to 4-years-old.

It is a one-hour session held every Wednesday from 10-11 a.m. at the Putnam County Library Kiwanis Room beginning Sept. 13 and ending on Nov. 1.

The children participate in singing songs, story time, crafts and a game.

Angela Ladd is the Program Supervisor and has some really fun things planned for the fall session. Leaf mobiles, decorating monster cupcakes, spooky thumb prints and foam caterpillars are just a few of the crafts planned.

The program is an 8-week course and the cost of the session is $30 for the first child and $15 for each additional child. Applications may be picked up at City Hall, Bright Futures or the Putnam County Library.
