CHALMERS -- The Cloverdale boys' basketball team won its fourth straight game of the season Saturday, defeating Frontier, 61-37.

Chase Haltom led the Clovers with 15 points, while Michael Neese scored 13 points and Kyle McCammon added 11.

The Clovers came out and outscored the Falcons 18-6 in the opening period, and followed with an 18-10 advantage in the second quarter, taking a commanding 36-16 lead into halftime.

"The kids started out with great intensity at the start of the game," Cloverdale Coach Pat Rady said. "We played both sides of the court very well."

Christian Cheatham scored eight points in the game, while Craig Blair added seven points and grabbed a team high six rebounds.

"I thought it was a good team effort, like it was on Friday," Rady said. "Everybody played and they all contributed."

The Clovers improve to 10-3 on the season, and host South Putnam Friday at 7:30 p.m.

Saturday's win capped a week in which the Clovers defeated Greencastle Tuesday and North Putnam Friday.

"This past week I think we've played some of the best ball we've played all year," Rady said.
