MONROVIA -- The South Putnam High School varsity wrestling team went 3-2 in Saturday's Monrovia Invitational.

In the 103-pound class Brandon Vaughen ended the day with a 3-2 record while Eric Hunter finished 2-3 on the 119-pound division. Seth Green finished 1-4, wrestling in the 125-pound class while Ethan Ames finished 4-1 at 135 pounds. At 135-pounds, D.C. Cook ended the day with a 1-4 record while Bo Jackson completed his day at 140-pounds with a 4-1 record. Hank Goldman went 3-2 at 145-pounds while Jon Parker ended at 3-2 also in the 152-pound class.

Taylor Cooper had a 2-3 record for the day in the 160-pound class while Josh Sanders finished with a perfect 2-0 record in the 171-pound class while Kody Terry went 1-2 in the same weight class. Thomas Crafton had the best record of the day going 5-0 in the 189-pound class while Scott Bunten finished at 3-2 in the 215-pound division. Joe Snellenberger ended the day with a 2-3 record in the 275-pound class.

The Eagles will be back in action on Wednesday when they take on North Putnam at home 6:30 p.m.
