NORTH PUTNAM SECTIONAL TICKETS NOW AVAILABLE

Presale tickets for the North Putnam High School football team's sectional semifinal game at North Montgomery Friday are now available.

The tickets are $5 apiece and can be purchased for $5 at NPHS through Thursday from 8:30 a.m.-3:30 p.m. and on Friday from 8:30 a.m.-noon.

SIGN-UPS FOR NORTH PUTNAM YOUTH BASKETBALL COMING UP

The North Putnam Youth Basketball League will have its annual sign-ups and evaluations for boys and girls in grades K-5 on Saturday, Nov. 11, at North Putnam Middle School.

Players in kindergarten and first grade can sign up at 9 a.m., and boys and girls in grades 2 and 3 can sign up at 10 a.m.

Sign-ups for fourth- and fifth-graders will take place at 11 a.m.

The cost for the league is $30, and interested players must sign up and be evaluated on Nov. 11.

BANNERGRAPHIC SEEKING FULL-TIME SPORTS WRITER

The BannerGraphic sports department is looking for a full-time writer.

Those interested in the position should have knowledge of sports and be willing to cover high school and collegiate athletic events along with taking pictures during the evenings, afternoons and some weekends, and have a willingness to learn computer software for design and photography.
