Jerry R. Blair

Jerry R. Blair, 65, Poland, died Sunday at St. Vincent Hospice, Indianapolis.
Born in Gary, he was the son of Marion Robert and Pauline Gertrude (Hunt) Blair.
He was a retired truck driver for Roadway Express in Indianapolis and was a past sprint car driver.
He was a member of Living Stone Christian Church and was active at the Cunot Senior Citizens Center where he worked with seniors and children.
Survivors include three daughters, Ginger Kay Clark and husband Andrew, Brownsburg, Terri Kay Ploughe-Pierson and husband Rich, Mooresville, and Jodi Kathleen Goodman and husband John, Indianapolis; three sons, Jerry Robert Blair II and wife Reigan, LaPorte, Ronald Ploughe and wife Davetta, Indianapolis, and Tony Ploughe and wife Kim, Aurora, Colo.; 13 grandchildren, and two great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother, Larry Wayne Blair.
Funeral services will be conducted at 7:30 p.m. Tuesday at Whitaker Funeral Home, Cloverdale, with Rev. Phil Kirby officiating.
Visitation is 4 p.m. until service time Tuesday at the funeral home.
