Elaine Conner

Elaine Conner, 68, Cloverdale, died Thursday at Hendricks Regional Health, Danville.

Born at Indianapolis, she was the daughter of Harold and Violet Kathleen (Cash) Gobel.

She was retired as vice president and north branch manager of First National Bank, Cloverdale, and had previously served as trust officer for many years.

She married Samuel Marion Conner on April 25, 1956. He died Jan. 13, 2005.

Surviving are son Tim Conner, Brazil; and two grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband and sister Mary Ruth Barnes.

Private services will be conducted with private visitation and burial.

Whitaker Funeral Home, Cloverdale, is handling arrangements.
