Marie E. Scott

Marie E. Scott, 81, Roachdale, died Sunday at Plainfield Health Care.

Born at Roachdale, she was the daughter of Virgil and Lucille (Ferguson) Sutherlin.

She retired from Sommer Metalcraft Corp. at Crawfordsville and was a member of the Roachdale Christian Church.

She married Cecil Scott on Sept. 7, 1971 at Petersburg. He died in 1995.

Surviving are a stepdaughter, Pat Allen, Roachdale; two brothers, Richard Sutherlin, Topeka, Kan., and James Sutherlin, California; two sisters, Ethel Hughes, Plainfield, and Irene Coleman, Florida; four stepgrandchildren, nine stepgreat-grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.

Graveside services will be at 2 p.m. Thursday at Roachdale Cemetery.

Visitation is 1-2 p.m. Thursday at Servies and Morgan Funeral Home, Roachdale.
