June Lee Swift, 74, Center Point, died Saturday after an extended illness.

Born in Clay County, she was the daughter of Everett and Halcie (Harden) Dierdorff.

A 1950 graduate of Brazil High School, she worked as a nurse for Clay County Health Care, Macanelle's Nursing Home, McCann Manor and Cloverleaf Health Care for many years. She also worked for Union Hospital in Terre Haute, retiring after 30 years. She was a member of Ashboro United Methodist Church, attended Epworth United Methodist Church, and most recently Christ Community Church.

She married Charles Swift in March 1969. He preceded her in death.

Surviving are two sons, Clint Swift and wife Amanda, Center Point, and Mark Siegelin and wife Penny, Archdale, N.C.; daughter Marsha Nicoson and husband Robert, Brazil; four grandchildren, a great-grandson, and several cousins.

She was preceded in death by her parents and husband.

Services will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday at Lawson-Miller Chapel, Brazil, with Rev. Brent Harden and Rev. Myron James officiating. Burial will be in St. John Cemetery, Center Point.

Visitation is 4-8 p.m. Monday and 7:30-11 a.m. Tuesday.
