Mary Agnes Benefiel

Mary Agnes Benefiel, 96, Greencastle, died Sunday at Hickory Creek at Sunset.

Born in Rush County, she was the daughter of Michael and Leona (Kuntz) Coyne.

She was a member of St. Paul the Apostle Catholic Church, Greencastle, and worked for many years at Sunset Manor Nursing Home, Greencastle.

She married Oscar A. Benefiel on Oct. 26, 1946. He died July 18, 1970.

Surviving is a daughter, Ruth Ann Benefiel, Greencastle.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, brother John Coyne, and daughter Rose Marie Benefiel Dunn.

Mass of Christian burial will be at 11 a.m. Thursday at St. Paul The Apostle Catholic Church. Burial will follow in Forest Hill Cemetery.

Visitation is 9-10:45 a.m. Thursday at Bittles and Hurt Funeral Home.
