Frances L. Tilley

Frances L. Tilley, 83, Greencastle, died Tuesday at Hendricks Regional Health, Danville.

Born in Putnam County, she was the daughter of Guy and Lola (Gardner) Tilley.

She worked in food services at DePauw University until her retirement in 1986. She had previously worked at several area restaurants and the Angewell Curtain Factory.

Survivors include sisters Lola Hutson, Wanda Gidcumb and husband Dan, and Sharon Byrd and husband John, all of Greencastle; brother Leroy Tilly and wife Grace, Greencastle; and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, sisters Mildred Rood, Helen Roberts and Betty Russell, and brother Paul Tilley.

Private family graveside services will be held. Bittles and Hurt Funeral Home has assisted with arrangements.
