Betty B. Hamilton, 86, West Lafayette, died Saturday at her residence in University Place

Born in Indianpolis, she was the daughter of Dr. Alan and Edith (Hixon) Broadstreet.

Hamilton was a telephone operator and a homemaker.

She was married to Judge Francis N. Hamilton for 58 years.

Survivors include sons William Hamilton, Thomas Hamilton and wife Terry, both of Terre Haute; daughters Elizabeth Smith and husband John, Mendham, N.J., and Lauralee Foerster and husband Robert, Lafayette; seven grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband and brother Alan Broadstreet.

Memorial services will take place at 11 a.m. Saturday at University Place, West Lafayette, and at 10 a.m. Saturday, April 21, at First Christian Church, Greencastle.

Bittles and Hurt Funeral Home, Greencas-tle, is handling arrangements.
