Evelyn Jean Ferrand Eaton Carlyle

Evelyn Jean Ferrand Eaton Carlyle, 57, Terre Haute, died Tuesday at the home of a friend after a long battle with cancer.

Born in Greencastle, she was the daughter of Amos Harvey and Clova Merril (Bush) Ferrand.

She worked in home healthcare for 30 years.

Surviving are her husband of 30 years, Floyd Allen Carlyle; son Ronald Eaton and fiancee Natalie Salerno; daughter Angela M. Taylor and husband Thomas L.; brother Dan L. Livingston and wife Jane; four grandchildren, and several nieces, nephews, cousins and other relatives.

She was preceded in death by her parents and brothers John T. Hawkins and Frank Ferrand.

Services will be at 10 a.m. Friday in Callahan and Hughes Funeral Home, Terre Haute, with Rev. James Botner officiating.

Burial will be in Grandview Cemetery.

Visitation is 4-8 p.m. Thursday.
