Wilborn 'Bib' Kendall

April 25, 1932-March 19, 2007

Wilborn "Bib" Lloyd Kendall, 74, Coatesville, died Monday at his residence.

Born in Belle Union, he was the son of Lee and Amanda (Royse) Kendall. He married Phyllis (Huber) Kendall on June 15, 1957. She preceded him in death in 2002.

He was a graduate of Fillmore High School and served in the U.S. Air Force from Oct. 26, 1951 to Oct. 4, 1956, during the Korean War. He achieved the rank of staff sergeant and earned several medals of service.

He worked more than 30 years at IBM, retiring in 1987.

He was a member of Canaan Community Church and was ordained an Elder for Life on June 27, 2004.

Survivors include his children, Lisa Miller and husband Dean, Roachdale, and Kevin Kendall and wife Vicki, Coatesville; four grandchildren, and three great-grandsons.

He was preceded in death by his parents and 10 siblings.

Funeral services are 5:30 p.m. Thursday at Canaan Community Church, Coatesville.

Visitation is 2:30 p.m. until service time at the church.

Hays Funeral Home, Coatesville, is in charge of arrangements.
