Seminar on website development April 17

The Greater Greencastle Chamber of Commerce will host a half-day seminar April 17 to discuss website development for small and mid-sized businesses.

Cost of the class is $40 for chamber members.

The class will be conducted from 8:30-11:30 a.m. at the Walden Inn. A continental breakfast will be provided.

The speaker for the class will be Jeff Osborn, president of Osborn and Associates. He will talk about website basics, tools of the trade, and tips and tricks.

Participants will learn the minimum requirements for starting a website; review HTML editing programs like Frontpage and Dreamweaver; as well as Internet programming languages like HTML and Javascript.

They will also learn about website formatting, such as layout, fonts, colors and more.

Registration forms and fees are due to the Chamber office by April 10. Checks should be made payable to: Greater Greencastle Chamber of Commerce, 16 S. Jackson St., Greencastle. Forms can also be faxed to (765) 848-1015.
