Evelyn Lucielle Stuart

Evelyn Lucielle Stuart, 65, Fillmore, died Friday at Putnam County Hospital.

Born in Putnam County, she was the daughter of Orla and Irma (O'Hair) Nichols.

She was a 1960 graduate of Fillmore High School.

She had retired from Hooks Drugs (CVS) after 42 years. She was a member of the Fillmore Rebekah Lodge, the Beechwood Club and president of the Fillmore Alumni Banquet.

She married Richard Lee Stuart in September 1962.

Survivors include son Robert Stuart and wife Susan, Fillmore; sister Tish Greenlee and husband Dee, Greencastle; four grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, and brothers Lloyd, Stanley and Edwin Nichols.

A memorial Rebekah Lodge service will take place at 10 a.m. Saturday at Hopkins-Rector Funeral Home, Greencastle.
