Carl T. Scott, 77, Cloverdale, died Saturday at his residence.

Born in Cicero, he was the son of George T. and Freda LaVaughn (Benefield) Scott.

A U.S. Marine Corps veteran of the Korean War, he was a mold machine operator for Link Belt in Indianapolis.

He married Donna Lee O'Neill on July 23, 1955. She died Jan. 1, 2001.

Surviving are three daughters, Carla Maga and husband Richard, Indianapolis, Lori Hannel and husband Eric, Cloverdale, and Kandi Huffman, Cloverdale; two sons, Thomas Scott and wife Judith, and Christopher Scott, all of Indianapolis; 12 grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his wife, parents, sister Eva Marie Robertson and brothers Donovan and Larry Scott.

Services will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Whitaker Funeral Home, Cloverdale, with Bro. A.J. Cox officiating. Burial will be in Cloverdale Cemetery.

Visitation is 4-8 p.m. Tuesday.
