Putnam County Jail

Several people were booked into the Putnam County Jail recently.

*Keenan Richard Monnett, 25, Cloverdale, was booked in at 8:33 p.m. Friday on a petition to revoke probation. He was arrested by Cloverdale Assistant Chief Timothy Walker.

* Randall Lee Foster, 25, Greencastle, was booked in at 2:01 a.m. Saturday for violation of home detention. He was arrested at PCJ.

* Brian Durham, 28, Solsberry, was booked in at 4:51 p.m. Saturday for possession of marijuana and reckless possession of paraphernalia. He was arrested by Greencastle Officer Travis DeLaGrange.

* Jason Jordan, 29, Indianapolis, was booked in at 5:31 p.m. Saturday for possession of marijuana, reckless possession of paraphernalia and driving while suspended. He was arrested by Officer DeLaGrange.

* Jason Richard Mabis, 33, Reelsville, was booked in at 7:54 p.m. Saturday on two Clay County warrants. He was arrested by Indiana State Police Trooper O'Rourk. He was released to Clay County at 3:56 p.m. Monday.

* John D. Collins, 34, Reelsville, was booked in at 8:40 p.m. Saturday for escape and violation of home detention. He was arrested by ISP Trooper Adam Edwards.

* Stephen Huber, 50, Greenwood, was booked in at 10:10 p.m. Saturday for driving while intoxicated. He was arrested at PCJ. He was released on his own recognizance at 8:17 a.m. Tuesday.

* Janet Lavonne Robinson, 47, Roachdale, was booked in at 10:39 p.m. Saturday for public intoxication. She was arrested by Reserve Deputy Denna DeLaCruz. She was released on her own recognizance at 9:56 a.m. Sunday.

* David S. New, 39, Roachdale, was booked in at 12:15 a.m. Sunday for driving while intoxicated. He was arrested by Bainbridge Marshal Rodney Fenwick. He was released on $500 bond at 10:02 a.m. Sunday.

* Jacob Wesley Harvey, 37, Greencastle, was booked in at 9:24 p.m. Sunday for violation of home detention. He was arrested by Greencastle Officer Nick Eastham.

* Craig Aaron Sweares, 36, New Whiteland, was booked in at 12:30 a.m. Sunday for public intoxication. He was arrested by Reserve Deputy Mike Downing. He was released on his own recognizance at 2:36 p.m. Sunday.

* Steven Andrew Norak, 20, Greencastle, was booked in at 1:22 a.m. Sunday for possession of alcohol by a minor, false reporting or informing and public intoxication. He was arrested by DePauw Officer David Barber. He was released on his own recognizance at 8:09 a.m. Sunday.

* Kelly Kay Carbiener, 40, South Bend, was booked in at 4:25 a.m. Sunday for driving while intoxicated and driving while suspended. She was arrested by DePauw Officer Rick Keller. She was released on her own recognizance at 8:15 a.m. Tuesday.

* Kelly DeWayne Landis, 42, Cloverdale, was booked in at 5:11 a.m. Sunday for disorderly conduct and public intoxication. He was arrested by Sgt. Tom Helmer. He was released on his own recognizance at 10:18 a.m. Sunday.

* Eric Martin Reese, 21, Greencastle, was booked in at 5:45 a.m. Sunday for public intoxication. He was arrested by DePauw Officer Keller. He was released on his own recognizance at 2:47 p.m. Sunday.

* Jason Compliment, 26, Brownsburg, was booked in at 7:51 a.m. Sunday for failure to appear in court. He was arrested at PCJ.

* Larry Wayne Hook, 39, Greencastle, was booked in at 7:25 p.m. Sunday for domestic battery. He was arrested by Sgt. Don Pettit.

* Michael James Hayth, 51, Beech Grove, was booked in at 8:10 p.m. Sunday for driving while intoxicated and public intoxication. He was arrested by Sgt. Chris Jones.

* Henry Thomas Tillberry, 23, Cloverdale, was booked in at 5:12 p.m. Monday for failure to appear in court. He was arrested at PCJ.

* Nicole Rashell Chevrier, 24, Brazil, was booked in at 6:18 a.m. Tuesday for driving with a controlled substance and dangerous control of a child. She was arrested by Reserve Deputy Downing.

Greencastle Fire Dept.

The Greencastle Fire Department responded to several recent runs:

On Monday:

* At 10:46 p.m. firefighters were called to 805 Crescent Drive for a lift assist. They returned to station at 10:59 p.m.

On Tuesday:

* At 12:12 a.m. firefighters responded to a fire alarm at 109 W. Hanna St. at DePauw University. They were disregarded before leaving the station.

* At 9:40 a.m. firefighters were called to 400 N. Jackson St. for a gas odor. They monitored the scene, did not find anything and returned to station at 9:52 a.m.

* At 12:09 p.m. firefighters responded to 508 S. Jackson St. for a fire alarm. No problem was found. They returned to station at 12:16 p.m.

*At 5:36 p.m. firefighters were called to a site in front of 112 S. Bloomington St. for a power line down. A tree had fallen on a telephone line. They returned to station at 5:47 p.m.
