CLOVERDALE -- The Cloverdale girls' golf team hosted Terre Haute South Thursday at Clover Meadows, falling to the Braves 193-228.

Sloane Engle and Kelsey Fuava were co-medalists for the Braves, each firing a 44.

Kate Chambers led the Clovers with a 53.

"Kate rebounded well tonight after a rocky start on the first two holes," coach Ken Williams said.

Paige Cassida was next with a 55, and Kayla Langdon had a 56.

"Kayla had two holes that hurt her score. Paige continues to improve," Williams said.

Elizabeh Wiley rounded out the scoring with a 64, and Jessica Hall was just behind at 65.

"Elizabeth and Jessica both improved over Wednesday's scores," the coach said.
