North girls fall to Tri-West 2-0

LIZTON -- The North Putnam girls' soccer team fell to Tri-West Thursday night 2-0.

The Cougars were outshot 14-0 in the contest.

"We played well in spite of not putting much offensive pressure on them. We let them get a quick two-goal lead and then we settled in and played some good defense ourselves. I'm proud of our girls for not giving up against a good Tri-West team," North Putnam head coach Scott Spencer commented.

North will host Crawfordsville at 10 a.m. Saturday.
