Steve E. Stinson

Steve E. Stinson, 55, Cloverdale, died Friday at his residence.

Born in Greencastle, he was the son of Otis A. and Leatha M. (Whitt) Stinson.

He was a member of Eminence Baptist Church and was employed at the Hendricks County Jail in Danville.

Surviving are his mother, Plainfield; sisters Geraldine Nichols, Helen Shrader and husband Eugene, all of Plainfield, Molly Odom and husband Gifford, Mooresville, and Margaret Anechiarico and husband John, Middleburg, Fla.; brothers Jerry Stinson, Madison, Robert Daniel Stinson and wife Mary, Martinsville, Jimmy Stinson and wife Patricia, Melrose, Fla., and Andy J. Stinson and wife Mary, Gig Harbor, Wash.

He was preceded in death by his father.

Services will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Whitaker Funeral Home, Cloverdale, with Rev. Leslie Brinson officiating.

Burial will be in Deer Creek Cemetery, Greencastle.

Visitation is 4-8 p.m. Tuesday.
