Bottoms, Dailey wed in June
Leslie Claire Bottoms and Felton Dean Dailey were joined in marriage June 2 at Emmanuel Episcopal Church in Athens, Ga., with Rev. Robert Salamone officiating.
The bride is the daughter of Robert and Gwendolyn Bottoms, Greencastle.
The groom is the son of Dean and Faye Dailey, Millen Ga.
Grandparents of the bride are Harry Vickers and the late Mary Neil Vickers, and the late Dalton and Inez Bottoms, Birmingham, Ala. The groom is the grandson of Reesie Turner and the late Paul Turner, South Carolina, and Lila Dailey and the late Felton Dailey Sr., Millen, Ga.
The bride wore a Rivini ivory strapless gown made of Mikado silk accented by a beaded bodice and cascading veil attached to a pearl headpiece. She carried a bouquet of white roses, orchids, freesia and peonies.
The matron of honor was Kim Bottoms, sister-in-law of the bride, from Burlingame, Calif. Other attendants were Joy Dailey, sister of the groom, Waynesboro, Ga., Ashley Bus, Atlanta, Kelly Rosalia, Nashville, Dana Cowart, Athens, Ga., and Cristin McCoy, Louisville, Colo. The bridesmaids wore light blue Vera Wang chiffon dresses with an empire waist tied with a black ribbon. They carried bouquets of white and blue flowers.
The father of the groom served as best man. Groomsmen were David Bottoms, brother of the bride, from Burlingame, Calif., Billy Horton and Todd Cowart, Athens, Ga., Jason Oliver, Millen, Ga., and Ben Nessmith, Statesboro, Ga. Connor Bottoms, nephew of the bride, served as greeter.
A reception followed at Tucker Plantation in Colbert, Ga. After a honeymoon to the Turks and Caicos Islands, the couple resides in Athens, Ga.
